About Jack Legan

I was born in the heart of São Paulo, and I’ve always felt that the city has a way of speaking through you.

I’m Jack Legan, 27, and for me, music wasn't a choice—it was the way I found to process the duality of the world. My sound is a reflection of that: a mix of the raw energy you feel on the streets during the day and the almost quiet noise of the city throughout the nights.

The Deep Cut era was when I discovered there was more in me than I thought. It started as a way to record stories that were usually kept under a veil of embarrassment.
From the sad-pop sound of "Blind of Love" to the lo-fi plea of "The Game," and from the searching of "Everything Will Be Fine" to the raw honesty of "Demons," these became more than just songs to me; they are now chapters of my life.

In my head, I've always wanted to create more than just music; I want to create a space for anyone who finds beauty in the cracks and honesty in the ache. My music is a deep cut—personal, raw, and meant to stay with you long after the song ends.

My first sample for the world was a soft, whispered cry. Now, I can't wait for you to hear the scream.
